I work exclusively with premium hardwoods – Walnut, Oak, Ash, and other characterful British and North American species. No two pieces of timber behave the same. Understanding how a slab will move, settle, and age is part of the craft – and it’s why every table is built individually, not batch‑produced.

When you commission a Riviere table, you work directly with the person who selects the timber, builds the piece, and signs their name to it. Throughout the build, I keep you updated with timber selection photos, progress updates, and delivery planning.
