I prepare and flatten the timber before shaping and sanding the top. Where the slab needs structural support, I add appropriate reinforcement; stable joinery and movement-allowing fixings account for the way solid wood behaves. After the hand-buffed hardwax oil is applied and the legs are fitted, your table comes with my lifetime structural guarantee.
